Student Scientific Society : 1st General Assembly

On Monday, November 28th, the first General Assembly meeting took place. Students and representatives of the Student Scientific Society met in Zdzisław Kieturakis auditorium to discuss plans for the academic year 2022/23 and present what had been achieved so far.

The meeting was opened by the Chair of the Board Maria Renke who welcomed everyone and introduced board members and assistants. This was followed by speeches from special guests – prof. Tomasz Smiatasz and prof. Michał Woźniak as well as STN’s advisors Lek. Magdalena Antoszewska and Dr. Piotr Spychalski. After that, a debate on STN’s upcoming strategy was held which was accompanied by a discussion about ideas promoting STUDNIA project database among the doctors.

The last item on the agenda was an analysis of the current statute of the Student Scientific Society and discussion about possible amendments. The new provisions for the amendments to the statute will be voted on via an online meeting in January with the active member quorum of STN.
